My Watery Ripple Scarf started out life as a test run of the very lovely Attic 24 Neat Ripple Pattern and it just evolved very easily into a scarf. I used Rowan Pure Wool Double knit in the following water inspired colours ::
Glacier 005
Pier 006
Marine 008
It was my very first time rippling and I really do have to say that once I got started I LOVED it. I did not, however, like trying to crochet in to the foundation chain for the first ripply row! That was really difficult and I am so very glad that I only had 31 chains to battle with! Maybe if I start now I might get the first row done for a ripple blanket this time next year! I may be missing something but I’m sure there must be an easier way to do it.
Anyway ~ here it is!
The BiG Moment for my Watery Ripple Scarf.............
I really do love my Watery Ripple Scarf and I really do LoVe the water inspired blues and greens too. It is also such a joy to wear and it had it’s very first outing into the big wide world this morning as I wore it for doing the school run and it kept me very warm and very cosy indeed :O)

Its beautiful you must be very proud to wear it!
That is absolutely lovely! Even here in France I would have been glad of it: it is finally wintery here.
What a pretty scarf. Lovely colours too. And it does indeed look very snuggly and warm.

What a lovely scarf. I still haven't mastered crochet yet.....!
Great job. I know that first row can be tough. But, now that you have the scarf down... Move onto a blanket... I promise you will not be disappointed.
Head over to my garden. I have a Ta-Da of one today.
I really like it!! Just my colours too. I haven't attempted a ripple pattern yet, I look forward to trying it out.

I Love this, it is beautiful, do you mind me asking how long it took? - I have a friends birthday in mind x
It's lovely. Well done x
I love it. I'm doing one also in KnitPicks palette yarn, so nice and skinny yarn. I hate that first row too. There must be a better way, but I don't know what it is.
Lovely, well done!

Lovely colours. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment from wearing it
I love this so much because this is exactly what happened to me! I did a test patch in rainbow colours, a friend of mine loved it and low and behold it's almost a finished scarf :-)
I love your colours, both this one and the pink, when mines done I might make myself one in blues or purples
