Successful Shopping

I had a very successful shopping trip last Saturday and actually came home with some very useful purchases. You might have already guessed by now that I love shopping for woolly bits and pieces but I hate shopping for clothes for myself. I don’t normally get the chance to buy very many clothes for myself as money is usually a bit scarce and like most families the children’s needs come first. It also has to be said that they have much nicer clothes than me and a much fuller wardrobe too!

However, I was on a mission on Saturday to buy myself a very much needed pair of shoes in preparation for the winter months ahead of us. I don't know about the rest of you but I usually get a picture of what I want to buy in my head and then can’t find anything that I like when I trail around the shops. Luckily for me this Saturday the shopping was very successful. Do you want to see what I got?

A very comfy pair of trainers ~ perfect for wearing with jeans and doing the school run.

A very cosy pair of black leather boots ~ also perfect for wearing with jeans and doing the school run when the weather gets a bit colder.

And a very pretty little top and a pair of jeans too! You have probably realised by now that I am definately a jeans and t shirts kind of girl and I just don't never ever wear heels!

Like I said ~ A very Successful Saturday Shopping trip :O)

Ooooh lovely clothes! love the trainers, I really need a new pair, but I am really funny about trainers they have to feel and look right??!!! lol. But I love those.

I have to say I usually HATE clothes shopping for myself. I could quite happily do it for my girls all day. But the other Friday I was in town and was struck down by an attack of the wants! all clothes related oh and a bag. Oh hum it will have to wait another day, so many other things that doing/buying first.

Take care

A very successful trip by the looks of it! Your style looks similar to mine. I wore heels a few weeks ago and it took five days for my calve muscles to recover...too much effort!! LOL!!

I take no pleasure from clothes shopping either, strange as us girls are supposed to be experts at shopping! Lovely to have a trip when you find the bits you need. Excellent choices, i'd be very happy with all your bits especially that top.

Lovely stuff - well done! My husband was in a shopping centre south of Edinburgh on Monday (he can't remember which one - that's commercial travelling for you!)

Oh! Definitely agreeing on your choices for shoes! I don't wear heels at all. How do those people walk on gravel in stilettos? It still puzzles me. I know how it is to have something in mind, and not find it in the stores (despite going round, after round). Hmm. Winter. I didn't think I'd be seeing those boots so quickly. Summer here is just way too short!

Great items!

I finally got some much needed boots this week. I am a size 9 and they are soooo hard to find, for ladies unless you want to spend a fortune - which I didn't! I've actually needed them all summer but they don't bring out winter shoes in SUMMER!

Thanks for commenting on my post - I hope you had a great wedding anniversary. Did a lovely pal do the reading at your wedding too?

I don't like shopping either of any kind -- oops that's a fib , I like yarn shopping :-)
