Colourful crochet ~ one:
I have at last finished my colourful crochet cushion cover ~ this little project seems to have been on the go for absolutely ages and I am so very glad that it is finally complete and ready for use. It has to be said though that I am not personally getting to sit down and use it very often because it keeps being pounced upon by small children who are finding it very comfy and cosy indeed!
I’d also like to know why small boys like to stick their fingers in all the little crochet holes and have a good old rummage around inside the cushion! What is that all about?
Colourful crochet ~ two:
Look at all this wonderful hooky loveliness! I couldn’t resist treating myself to this fantastic set of very colourful aluminium crochet hooks ~ I LOVE them and although I am not sure if I will ever find a use for every single one of them (sizes 2.00mm to 10.00mm) I’m sure that you will agree that they are all very pretty and are lovely to look at.
Colourful crochet ~ three:
Finally I want to show you this colourful little crochet jam jar cover that I made yesterday. This is yet another wonderful inspiration from the very lovely Lucy over at Attic 24 ~ she has created so many lovely patterns and I am slowly trying to work my way through them all. I am very pleased with the way that it has turned out and it makes a very pretty little container for all those very colourful crochet hooks too.
I hope that you all have a very lovely weekend and look forward to catching up next week :O)

I sooo need to learn to crochet! Love you makes. Xx
Just what I needed to start the weekend, a gorgeous lovely hooky post. That cushion cover is beautiful x
Hi Jackie....your cushion looks soooo pretty, and beautifully plumpety-plump too (I am not partial to flat cushoins!)
I SO know what you mean about Little Fingers finding the holes in grannysqaures irresistible too, we have the same thing in our house :o)
I've really enjoyed this post, your hooky jar looks lovely and it goes without saying that your new set of hooks is adorable too...where did you find them, I think I'm having an attack of The Wanties!
Love to you

lovely crochet hooks & the cushion looks great
I think I would pounce on that cushion too...a vision of loveliness (doesn't look as though I have spelled this correctly..but well!!).
Lovely cushion! such great colours. Love those hooks too. They are a reason if you needed any to take up crochet!
Have a lovely weekend.

LOL -- I too sometimes loop my finger or two (or all) through those crochet holes of my granny squares. It just is fun. You should give it a try some time :)
Well, those teeny crochet hook sizes, it's always good to have them around, just in case the need arises. You never know. Speaking of which, I too have a bunch of colourful aluminium crochet hooks, and don't believe I ever got round to using each and every one of them. Perhaps I did... I can't remember :)
The swap package is now mailed out (as you've discovered from today's blog post), and I hope it gets to you well.
Your colourful crochet cushion cover is beautiful! And I like the crochet jam jar ,too :o))!
The cusion is gorgeous, you are so clever. You don't need to tell me about boys, they seem to have this need to poke, pick, flick, kick....you know what i mean. All great qualities to have in a boy i think!

Those are all great. Little (or big) boys and holes in cushions - tell me about it...
I found a huge draw of colourful crochet hooks at a charity shop today - shame I don't crochet, I thought!
I love this post Jackie, the gorgeous cushion, the colourful jam jar cover and the image of your little ones enjoying your homemade goodies. Have a great weekend.
Well done, Love your crochet and the lovey colourful hooks too!
